O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent herein to issue ayan patta for the ground rent patta with respect the property in G.R.S.Nos.108/9 to an extent of 24 cents in Pallathur Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District by considering petitioner's representation dated 06.10.2022, 02.06.2023 and 18.09.2023 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation to the official respondents seeking for ayan patta instead of ground rent patta. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. Learned Government Advocate, appearing for the official respondent, submits that the representation of the petitioners' would be considered by the first respondent within a period of twelve weeks. 2/4

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 06.10.2022 and 02.06.2023, conduct enquiry by hearing all the parties and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say, if there are any rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
