ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to the respondents herein to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the Kabaddi Competition on 23.09.2023 at Bagavathy Amman Temple Ground, Yerikulam, Trichy District. 2.It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has made a representation to the respondent Police on 31.08.2023 seeking permission and for providing protection for conducting kabaddi competition. However, the same was declined as per the proceedings dated 01.09.2023 in Na.Ka.No. 28/Ka.Aa/Tho.Va/2023 by the respondent police. 3.Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner has not provide any details with regard to number of teams and other requirements to be taken, thereby the permission was declined. 2/4

Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to approach the respondent Police afresh and file application by giving all the details in respect of the hygiene, play grounds, accommodation to the players, toilets, medical facilities like ambulance, food, refreshment etc and on being satisfied only, the respondent Police are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders by keeping in view of the fact that the programme is scheduled to be held on 23.09.2023. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
