Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for records relating to the impugned order 256/A1/2022 dated 04.04.2022 issued by the 3rd respondent and quash the same and direct the 3rd respondent to issue 1/4

No Object Certificate (NOC) for obtaining the petitioner retirement benefits and consequently direct the 1st and 2nd respondent to release the petitioner's retirement benefits.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The writ petitioner retired as a Junior Water Analyst on 30.06.2022. His terminal benefits however have not been settled on account of non-issuance of no objection certificate by the third respondent. 3.The secretary of the third respondent society is present in person. She informs the Court that they will issue no objection certificate in favour of the writ petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since that is the only one ground on which the petitioner's retirement benefits have been withheld, after receiving no objection certificate from the third respondent, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to disburse the 2/4

retirement benefits. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is allowed on these terms. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
