PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint, dated 27.08.2023 in C.S.R.No. 530 of 2023, issued by the second respondent and consequently direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and her family members for withdraw the petitioner's complaint.

This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to take appropriate action on the complaint given by the petitioner in C.S.R.No.530 of 2023.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the unofficial respondents have encroached the land belonging to the petitioner, on which, the petitioner filed W.P.(MD).No.17686 of 2023 before this Court, wherein, directions were given to the authorities to remove the encroachment. However, unofficial respondents have been threatening the petitioner to withdraw the writ petition. The petitioner has filed photos to show that his properties were damaged and books were burnt allegedly by the unofficial respondents. It is also submitted that the petitioner's life is under threat.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.530 of 2023 by taking all the materials including the photographs and on filing of such material, the respondent Police are directed to take stern action against the culprits and dispose of C.S.R.No. 530 of 2023 as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
