ORDER

The petitioner with a grievance that the patta for the lands of her grandfather, Kandasamy, has been wrongly entered in the names of one Ganapathy and one Palaniappan / the private respondents herein, has submitted a representation before the first respondent and alleging inaction on the part of the first respondent, has filed this writ petition. 2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's grandfather, Kandasamy, died intestate, leaving three legal heirs, namely, the petitioner's mother Papaathi and the private respondents herein / Ganapathy and Palaniappan. The private respondents / petitioner's Uncles, without the knowledge of Papaathi, obtained patta for the properties of Kandasamy in their name and therefore, the petitioner has made a representation before the first respondent in the year 2015. However, no action is forthcoming for the past eight years.

3.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that the enquiry would be completed within a reasonable time.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to conclude the proceedings in Na.Ka.A2/3122/2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, including the petitioner and the respondents 2 & 3 herein, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Index :
