ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the order passed in the year 2015 by the 2nd respondent to cancel the tender process. The 2nd respondent has floated tender for fishing right in certain tanks in Rajapalayam Panchayat Union. The petitioner has participated in the auction for the tank at Devadhanam Village and he has been declared as the successful bidder. The petitioner has also paid the initial tender amount of Rs.13,275/-. However, the 2nd respondent has cancelled the entire tender process on 04.12.2015. Aggrieved over the same this writ petition is filed.

2.Since the issue is of the year 2015 and the learned Counsel for the petitioner has restricted the prayer for return of the money deposited by the petitioner.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent to return the amount of Rs.13,275/- deposited by the petitioner pursuant to the auction conducted by the 2nd respondent in the year 2015 for fishing rights.
