ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to survey the land belonging to the petitioner in Survey No.17(2A5A), situated in Thennamanallur Village, Kalikudi Taluk, Madurai District, with adequate Police protection, by considering his representation dated 11.08.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

According to the petitioner, he submitted a representation dated 11.08.2025 requesting the authorities to survey his land in Survey No.17(2A5A), Thennamanallur Village, Kalikudi Taluk, Madurai District. Despite the representation, the fourth respondent has not taken steps to conduct the survey, compelling the petitioner to seek judicial intervention. The petitioner apprehends law and order issues during the survey and therefore, seeks adequate Police protection to ensure that the process is carried out smoothly and without obstruction. Since the petitioner has a lawful right to have his land surveyed, and his representation remains unconsidered, he has approached this Court for the relief stated supra.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that after consideration of the claims of both the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.08.2025 and demarcate the land of the petitioner, after consideration of the claims of both the parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
