The present writ petition has been filed by the Vice President of the Panchayat to direct the District Collector to initiate action as against the 4th respondent, who was the President at that point of time, on certain allegations.

2. The tenure of the 4th respondent as Panchayat President had expired in the year 2016. Hence, nothing survives to be adjudicated in the present writ petition.

3. In view of the above said fact, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
