ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life, limb of the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.09.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the second respondent has not received any representation from the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has sent a representation through registered post and he has also enclosed the copy of the postal receipt.

4. However, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the second respondent and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as to the 2/4

third respondent and conduct enquiry and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
