PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.275 of 2019 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.10 herein, who was arrested on 23.12.2019 for the alleged offence under Sections 148, 449, 307, 302, 506(ii), 120(b), 212, 109, 201 and 149 IPC, in Crime No.275 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that previously Accused No.1's uncle was murdered by some one. On suspicion over the deceased Soundarapandi, with a motive A1 along with other accused persons planned to murder him and attacked with deadly weapons and committed murder. Hence, the complaint.

3.After hearing the counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor this Court is of the considered view that the petitioner is involved in several cases and most of them are offence under Section 302 IPC. He was also detained under Goondas and that was also challenged by him. Considering the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail.

CRL OP(MD). No.20673 of 2021 4.At this juncture, the learned counsel submitted that it is the matter of the year 2019 and still pending before the learned Additional District Judge NO.VI, Madurai, in S.C.Nos.422 of 2019 and 334 of 2020 against the petitioners, without any progress, even though in a connected matter direction was issued to complete the trial process within a stipulated time. It appears that such trial is kept pending only by the delaying tactics adopted by the accused persons. Hence, considering the seriousness of the offences, there shall be a direction to the learned Additional District and Session Judge No.VI, Madurai, to expedite the trial in the above said cases and complete the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above said directions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
