ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by G.ARUL MURUGAN, J.) This Writ Petition is filed, seeking for a direction to the respondents to remove the encroacher and the temporary structure within Arulmigu Mariamman Temple premises located at Irukkankudi, Sattur Taluk, Virudhunagar 2/5
District and consequently, to direct the respondents 4 to 6 to complete the construction work within the time frame based on the representation dated 03.07.2025 preferred by the petitioner.
2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents, by producing the letter of the 5th respondent addressed to the Police Department dated 15.07.2025, would submit that already the authorities competent have initiated steps to remove the encroachment made in the subject property and action will be taken in a time bound manner and the encroachment will be removed by availing the assistance of the Police Department. 3.In view of the said submission, the official respondents are directed to continue with the enforcement action and remove the encroachment in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that the Police authorities shall extend necessary protection and assistance to the official respondents in removing the encroachment.
