PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2015 and to grant compensation to the Hindu leader families of those who have been murdered due to religious motive.

(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The petitioner has sought for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 30.12.2015 and to grant compensation to the Hindu leader families of those who have been murdered due to religious motive.

Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition may be closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned 2/4
with fresh representation containing the details of the beneficiaries so as to enable the third respondent to consider the same effectively. 3.
Recording the abovesaid submission, the Writ Petition is closed with liberty as prayed for. No costs.
