ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner / Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 18.11.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 5(l), 5(j)(ii), 6, 5(), 17 of POCSO Act, 2019 and 506(i) IPC in crime No.13 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Considering the fact that the petitioner is said to be the father of the victim child had penetrative sexual assault on her and the child was born and the DNA profiling matches with that of the petitioner, this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The petitioner is denied bail, now the case is posted for examination of witnesses, the prosecution is directed to expedite by producing the witnesses without fail. The learned Special Court is also directed to have the hearings in short intervals and complete the case as expeditiously as possible. 2/3
