For Petitioner : Mr.A.Muthukumar For Respondents : Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar (R1) Government Advocate COMMON ORDER The respective petitioners seek for quash of the FIRs in Crime No.428 & 439 of 2025 on the file of Sivagangai Town Police Station,Sivagangai District and also seeks for a direction to the respondent police to take action against the private respondents, namely,Vicky @ Vignesh, Ravichandran, Amutha and Mani Sankar Under the TNPPDL (Tamil Nadu Public Property (Pretension Damage and Loss) Act, and under section 4 of TNPHW Act 2002. 3/6
2. This matter was referred for mediation before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Madurai, wherein a settlement agreement was arrived at between the parties. The parties have buried their hatchet, and all the parties in the FIRs in Crime Nos. 428 and 439 of 2025 have agreed to withdraw their respective complaints.
3. Recording the settlement agreement dated 19.12.2025, the FIRs in Crime Nos.428 and 439 of 2025 are quashed and these criminal original petitions in Crl.OP(MD)Nos.23099 & 19980 of 2025 are allowed accordingly.
4. Insofar as the relief sought for in Crl.OP(MD)No.14202 of 2025, enquiry had already been conducted and closed and hence, the criminal original petition in Crl.OP(MD)No.14202 of 2025 is closed. The settlement agreement dated 19.12.2025 shall form part and parcel of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 12.02.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Sm 4/6
