No.14099/2009 dated 15-11-2011.

ORDER

Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.The petitioner derived title to the property in question through the Will said to have been executed by his mother on 24.01.2007. He made a representation to the respondent on 08.02.2018 for transfer of assessment of property tax pertaining to Door Nos.80D 83A, 83B and 83C from the name of his mother R.Jayalakshmi to his name. So far, process has not been completed. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.Considering the limited prayer of disposal of the representation, a direction is given to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.02.2018 and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after conducting enquiry with respect to genuineness of the petitioner's claim. It goes without saying that notice should be given to all the stakeholders, who claim right over the property and after ascertaining the right of the petitioner, order shall be passed.
