O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging violation of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.2842 of 2021, dated 16.02.2021, wherein this Court granted liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the Government and in Government, the Government was directed to consider the said representation on merits and take appropriate orders in accordance with law.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Additional Advocate General that the representation of the petitioner as directed was already considered and the Government issued an order in G.O.(2D)No.10, Home (Police VI) Department, dated 05.01.2024, duly ordering by extending the benefit to the petitioner and a copy of the same is also placed before this Court.

3. In the light of the above, this Court does not see any violation of the order passed by this Court. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. If the petitioner has got any grievance against the Government 2/4

Order in G.O.(2D)No.10, Home (Police VI) Department, dated 05.01.2024, it is open for him to take appropriate steps in accordance with law. No costs.
