2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the owner of the property in S.No.362/12D at Thenmalai Part II Revenue Villager, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District and when there was obstruction made by 2/5

the unofficial respondent Nos.4 to 10 for surveying the land, the petitioner filed W.P.(MD) No.30930 of 2023 before this Court and as per the directions of this Court, survey was about to be conducted. At that time, the unofficial respondent Nos.4 to 10 stated to have not only obstructed but also assaulted the petitioner, who has received injuries and was admitted in the hospital and a complaint was also made to the respondent police, but no action was taken. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the complaint given by the petitioner is registered as CSR.No.646 of 2023 and an enquiry is being initiated and now, the complaint is pending with Sivagiri police. It is submitted further that if the petitioner appears before the Sivagiri Police Station and files documents to show that he was admitted in the hospital and received injuries, the police would take appropriate action against the unofficial respondent Nos.4 to 10. 4.Accordingly, this Petition is disposed of directing the concerned police to complete the enquiry, as quickly as possible, not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
