ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to consider the first petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2018, collect the requisite fee, sub-divide the land in Survey No.
349/2 (Joint Patta No.1856) by metes and bounds, and prepare the Field Measurement Book (FMB) based on the present possession and enjoyment by the successors of Periya Thillan @ Arumugam and Chinna Kattaiyan @ Chinnasamy, as well as the subsequent purchaser (6th respondent). Thereafter, the respondents are directed to issue individual Pattas to all Pattadars in Joint Patta No.1856, Thiruvellarai Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.
3. According to the petitioners, they are the rightful successors entitled to the land in Survey No.349/2 (Joint Patta No.1856), Thiruvellarai Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District. The first petitioner submitted a representation dated 13.08.2018 requesting the respondents to sub-divide the land by metes and bounds, prepare the Field Measurement Book (FMB) based on current possession and enjoyment, and issue individual Pattas to all Pattadars. The respondents 1 to 5 have not taken any action despite the lawful entitlement of the petitioners. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 5 submits that the first petitioner's representation will be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.

Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the first petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2018, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, the sixth respondent and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. NCC : Yes / No (K.SURENDER, J.)
