This Criminal Original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 8 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent police station, Manamadurai.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the respondent police completed investigation in Crime No. 8 of 2018 and also filed final report before the Additional Mahila Court, Sivagangai and the same has been taken cognizance in S.C.No.137 of 2019

3. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
