PRAYER:- Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to cancel the Patta Nos. 524, 740, 763, 764, 765 and 766 in survey nos.103/1, 103/3, 103/4, 103/5, 103/7, 103/8, 104/3, 104/4, 105/3 and 37/7 situated at Arasalangkarambai village, Peravurani Taluk, Thanjavur District and restore the patta No.106 stand in the petitioner's name till appeal remedy is closed. 1/4

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the official respondents submitted that the appeal that was filed by the petitioner was dismissed by the Revenue Divisional Officer through proceedings dated 29.10.2021 and further, a revision that was filed before the District Revenue Officer, Tanjore was also dismissed through proceedings dated 18.08.2023. A copy of the proceedings was also produced before this Court.

2. In the light of the above, nothing survives in this writ petition and accordingly, the same is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
