2. Heard Mr.H.Arunraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.

Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, the petition is ordered and the time granted by this Court to the petitioner to file appropriate petition before the jurisdictional designated Court is extended by two weeks from today, failing which, it is open to the respondents to proceed further for confiscation of the vehicle in accordance with law.
