Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to direct the 5th respondent to return the deposit amount of Rs.1,86,670/- to the petitioner, which was deposited by him with the 5th respondent vide Fixed Deposit Receipt Nos.4603, 4604, 4605, 4606 and 4610 dated 06.02.2010 and a sum of Rs.61,775/- deposited by the petitioner in his S.B. Account No.1105, with interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of deposit to the date of payment within the time frame fixed by this Court.
