Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.11.2021 and grant patta in favour of the petitioner to the land situated in S.Nos.817/3, 818/9, 226/1 situated at Manmaari, Pallapatti Village, Aravakurichi Taluk, Karur District, within a stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks patta with respect to the lands in S.Nos.817/3, 818/9 and 226/1 at Manmaari, Pallapatti Village, Aravakurichi Taluk, Karur District.

2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the petitioner had stated that he had applied for patta on 16.11.2021 for the aforesaid lands.

3.However, it is stated by Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate, appears on behalf of the sole respondent that no such application has been received by the respondent. 4.A direction is given to the petitioner to file a fresh application online through proper procedure and also pay necessary fees for grant of patta and on receipt thereof, the respondent may examine the application, examine the documents of title of the petitioner, examine whether notice has to be issued to any other third party and thereafter, after coming to subjective satisfaction do the necessary needful. At any rate, the entire exercise must be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the fresh application from the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.22908 of 2021 5.With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
