O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed forbearing the second respondent police from coercing the petitioner to settle the amount payable to the third respondent by interfere in a civil dispute in insolvency petition No.1 of 2015 on the file of District Judge, Kanyakumari at Nagercoil.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that there was a civil dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent. Hence, the third respondent has lodged a complaint against the petitioner. Based on the complaint, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner. Hence, the present petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 & 2, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the third respondent, the petitioner was called for enquiry by the respondent police and after conducting enquiry, the complaint was closed as civil dispute and also directed the parties to approach the Civil Court for getting appropriate relief. He further submitted that the respondent Nos.1 and 2 are not harassing the petitioner.

4. Recording the statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that based the complaint given by the third respondent, an enquiry has been conducted and the same was closed as civil dispute, no further order is required in this case. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
