Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.118 of 2025 dated 18.07.2025 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Poovanthi Police Station, Sivagangai district and quash the same as illegal.

ORDER
The petitioners have approached this court to quash the FIR registered against them in Crime No.118 of 2025 on the file of the 1st respondent.
2.When this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that it is a case in counter and they after completion of investigation, filed the final report in both cases before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppuvanam by way of e-filing on 19.08.2025. 3.Since final report is filed, this court is not inclined to proceed with the first information report alone. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is closed. The respondent police shall ensure that the final reports are taken on file without any delay. The petitioners are at liberty to challenge the final report. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
