ORDER

The petitioners have filed this writ petition for a mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in their name in respect of the land in Survey No.14/3 situated at Chinnakalaiamputhur Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District, based on their representation dated 01.09.2015. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners by relying on certain documents submitted that the land in Survey No.14/3 belongs to the petitioners and sought patta in their name.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the land in Survey No.14/3 is classified as temple land in the revenue records. The petitioners has not submitted any documents. Therefore, the representation submitted by the petitioners was not considered by the respondent.

4.Considering the rival submissions made, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation with all the relevant documents to the respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such representation, the respondent shall take a decision and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereon.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
