O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN,J.] The mother has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition alleging that her 18 years old daughter Shobika was missing along with jewels from 17.12.2021. In spite of the complaint to the police, they were not able to trace her. Fearing that her daughter life is in danger, she has filed the present petition.
2. The respondent police on registering the complaint had secured the girl from Coimbatore. Soon after she attained majority, she has eloped with one Kannan, S/o.Gobi, Alanganallur, Madurai District. The statement of the detenue reveals that the boy, with whom the girl has eloped, had deserted her taking away the jewels and thereafter, the girl has called her mother and informed her whereabouts. It is open to the petitioner and her daughter to lodge a proper complaint before the concerned police and if such complaint https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
H.C.P.(MD) No.1959 of 2021 is filed, the police is directed to investigate the matter and file a final report in accordance with law.
3. In view of the above, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
