Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to proceedings of the Commissioner, Directorate of Technical Education in and by his letter number 41134/A3/2013 dated 31.12.2013 and the consequential proceedings of the Principal, Government Engineering College in and by his proceedings No. 5146/E3/2013-21 dated 13.02.2014, and quash the same and directing the respondents to fix the pay of the petitioner in the scale of pay meant for the selection grade Electrician (i.e. 9300-34800 + GP 4200) with subsequent monetary benefits with interest and consequentially revise petitioner's pensionary benefits accordingly. ORDER

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition, the Government passed orders implementing the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission and therefore, no further adjudication is required in the writ petition.

2.1. In the light of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the Competent Authorities for redressal of his grievances in respect of the revised scale of pay, if any, exists. 2.2. No costs.
