O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the contemnor/respondent for wilful disobedience of the order dated 28.02.2024 passed in W.P(MD) No.986 of 2024 on the file of this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader would submit that this Court by an order dated 28.02.2024 in W.P(MD)No.986 of 2024 had directed the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.12.2023 and take necessary action for removal of encroachment put up by Arulmighu Kundrumalai Shri Murugan Koil. The respondents in due compliance of the order have initiated action against the encroacher and the said encroacher had approached this Court in Page No.2 of 5

W.P(MD)No.21642 of 2024 and this Court by an order dated 11.09.2024 while disposing the writ petition had directed the appellate authority/Tahsildhar to take appeal on file and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law and till the disposal of the appeal interim stay was granted and the appeal has been pending and he would further submit that the appeal would be disposed of at the earliest.

3. In view of the same, the appellate authority, Tahsildhar shall dispose of the appeal filed by Arulmighu Kundrumalai Shri Murugan Koil represented by its representative Mr.M..Veluchelian .as expeditiously as possible.
