This Criminal Appeal has been filed against against the judgment of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Ambasamudram in S.T.C.No.1575 of 2012 dated 04.08.2017.

2. Today (23.08.2023), when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent submits that the appellant passed away after the criminal appeal was instituted. As such, this appeal cannot be prosecuted any further at this juncture.
