This Criminal Original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 173 of 2018 on the file of the Sub Inspector of Police, Palayamkottai Police Station, Tirunelveli city.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the respondent police completed investigation in Crime No. 173 of 2018 and also filed final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate , Tirunelveli and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C.No. 381 of 2018.

3. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report.
