ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing,

at the admission stage itself.

2. The prayer in the writ petition reads as follows: "To issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the impugned order of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.8677/2021/d1 dated 18.09.2024 and quash the same."

3. The challenge is to the notice dated 18.09.2024 issued by the Kumbakonam Municipal Corporation under Section 128 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998.

4. Mr.Rajarajan, learned standing counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent corporation would submit that, after conducting an enquiry, final orders have been passed as required under proviso to Section 128(1)(b) of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to challenge the same.

6. The writ petition is dismissed with liberty to challenge the orders passed under Section 128(1)(b) of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
