The writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction upon the respondents to issue the petitioner's Old Age Pension in Account No.IGNOP 17224.

2.According to the petitioner, he is a senior citizen, aged about 79 years and he was granted with old age pension as per the Welfare scheme of the Government, but suddenly the pension was stopped in the year 2013. When the petitioner has approached the respondents for revival of old age pension along with arrears, the respondents have directed him to produce documents such as Aadhar card, smart card and bank account details for the purpose of sanctioning the pension from the date of application. W.P.(MD)No.23402 of 2019 was taken, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that even now the respondents are willing to provide old age pension to the petitioner, but it is not feasible for them to grant the arrears of pension. The statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded. 4.The petitioner is directed to make an application before the second respondent along with required documents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On such application being received, the second respondent shall positively pass orders within a period of two weeks therefrom. 5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
