This criminal original petition has been filed for directing the respondent to file the final report.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that a negative final report has already been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Srivilliputhur on 23.02.2021. However, the jurisdictional Magistrate is yet to take a call in the matter. If the trial Magistrate decides to accept the final report, then RCS notice shall be served afresh on the petitioner so that the petitioner can file a protest petition. On such filing, the same will be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter. 3.This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly. The Registry is directed to mark a copy of this order to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Srivilliputhur.
