ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent.

2. Although the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that he would obtain further instructions with regard to the relief sought in the present writ petition, it is noticed that the petitioner has approached this Court seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to accept the principal amount with interest and return the mortgaged house property deed as well as the gold jewels pledged under the jewel loan scheme, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2025, within a stipulated time.

3. The prayer in the writ petition is wide. However, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself by directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
