When the writ petition was taken up for hearing on 08.02.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, the writ petition was directed to be listed under the caption "For Dismissal" today. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner.
2. This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, directing the first respondent to be an observer or to appoint an observer on behalf of him with a direction to the 2nd respondent to conduct an election at 2/4
Abiramam by following the provisions of the Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act, for the Abiramam Educational Trust.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submits that the election was already over and the Form-7 filed by the elected bodies has also been approved by the first respondent. He has also circulated the approved copy of Form-7.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
