PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to transfer the investigation of the murder case in FIR No.85 of 2022 from the file of the Inspector of Police, Melavalavu, Madurai District to the second respondent (CBCID, Madurai District) for proper investigation and to conclude the investigation within the time frame fixed by this Court.

O RDER Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the investigation has been conducted in Crime No.85 of 2022 by the respondent Police and on completion of investigation, charge sheet is also filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur by way of E-Filing and the same was not taken on file.
2. In view of the above, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, is directed to number the charge sheet within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and proceed with the trial.
