O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to expedite the appeal filed by the Petitioner, dated 24.1.2018 in Patta Appeal O.Mu.No.562/2018.

2.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both parties,the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the Petitioner, the subject property was purchased by the Petitioner's other under sale deed, dated 28.3.1981.The original patta stood in the name of Petitioner's mother in Patta No.751.After the death of Petitioner's mother, the third respondent illegally mutated the revenue records in his name. Therefore, the Petitioner submitted an appeal before the first respondent on 24.1.2018 in Patta Appeal No. O.Mu.No. 562/2018. The same has not been considered so far. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the 2/5

relief stated supra.

4.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the appeal filed by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the Petitioner, dated 24.1.2018 and pass final orders on its own merits after affording reasonable opportunity to the Petitioner and respondents 3 and 4, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.

6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
