This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, his trust namely Kovilpatti Sundaralinga Deventhranar Vengala Silai Paramarippu Arakattalai and the Vengal Statue of Sundaralinga Deventhranar and its maintenance, by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.10.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 3 and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that, on the representation given by the petitioner, the petition enquiry was conducted and the same was closed after investigation.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, no further order is required to be passed in this petition.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
