ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a retired employee of the respondent transport corporation, seeking interest for the belated disbursement of the terminal benefits.

2.The petitioner has retired from service on 30.11.2021 and his terminal benefits were released after a period of 21 months on 28.03.2023. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents on 17.08.2024 for payment of interest.

3.Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to pay 6% interest from the due date till the date of disbursement within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
