PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.14/2024 on the file of the respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 420, 506(i) of IPC, in Crime No. 14 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The defacto complainant gave a complaint against A1 and other family members stating that they treated the defacto complainant with cruelty and demanded dowry and she was also intimidated and her sridhana property was not returned back. There are totally 4 accused persons in this case and the petitioner has been arrayed as A1.
3. This Court had directed the parties to go before the mediation centre and attempt for an amicable settlement. The parties were not able to come to any amicable settlement. Hence, the matter has been posted back to the Court.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact there is a matrimonial dispute involved in this case, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to adopt the procedure adumbrated under Section 35 of BNSS and complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.
