This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.09.2015 and to promote her as Graduate Teacher (Tamil) with effect from 25.06.2007 and as Middle School Headmistress with effect from 05.11.2007, on par with her junior and to grant all the service, monetary and other attendant benefits. 1/3

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent were appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher in the Panchayat Union Primary School, Perumagalur, Sethubavachatram Panchayat Union, Thanjavur District, on 27.09.1996. Subsequently, they have passed B.Lit.(Tamil) degree in May 2001. Thereafter, a panel was prepared for promotion to the post of Graduation Teacher in Tamil in the year 2002, wherein, the name of the petitioner was included and she was promoted as Graduate Teacher (Tamil) on 05.11.2007. Whereas, the fourth respondent, whose name was not included in the panel, was promoted as Graduate Teacher (Tamil) on 25.06.2007 i.e., prior to the petitioner's promotion. Objecting the same, the petitioner has made repeated representations to the second respondent and finally on 07.09.2015. However, till date no order was passed. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 07.09.2015, within a specified time.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.09.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation dated 07.09.2015, to the second respondent, along with the copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
