ORDER

Seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect to the properties in Survey Nos.50/3C2, 55/5, 31/3B, 82, 32/4A, 56/2C, situated at Madakudi Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District based on his application, dated 14.08.2024, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. The petitioner would claim a right to the aforesaid property on the basis of a settlement deed, dated 08.04.2022. The petitioner has made an application on 14.08.2024 for issuance of patta in his name. Since the same has not been considered to date, this writ petition.

3. Considering the above facts and since prima facie appears to be there is no impediment for grant of patta to the petitioner, a mandamus is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.08.2024 and grant patta to the petitioner in respect of

the petition mentioned property within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
