PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 to issue a Direction, directing the Respondent No.3 not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry. ORDER

The petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner was forced to withdraw the complaint given by him against the fourth respondent and others and that even without any complaint, the petitioner is forced to settle the amount to the fourth respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor however denied the same. He would further submit that the complaint lodged by the petitioner has been closed and there is no complaint filed by the fourth respondent and therefore, the 2/4

allegation of harassment is unfounded.

4. In view of the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate petition, if she is aggrieved by the closure of her complaint.
