(Order of the Court was made by D. KRISHNAKUMAR, J.) The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to file an action taken report in the matter of correcting errors in the 'A' Register, Village Chitta, Adangal and Tamilnilam Data Base of the Village records maintained by the respondents in pursuance of G.O.Ms.No.385, Revenue (General-3) Department dated 07.08.2004 and Letter D.O.Lr.No.25537/SS-II/2014, dated 11.07.2014 of the first respondent.

2.According to the petitioner, though G.O.Ms.No.385, Revenue (General-3) Department, dated 07.08.2004 and letter in D.O.Lr.No. 25537/SS-II(2/2014), dated 11.07.2014 have been issued to correct the error in the UDR Scheme, the District Collectors have not carried out the error in the UDR records and in the data base, which has resulted in driving the people to approach the Revenue Authorities and Courts for rectification of errors in the UDR Scheme.

3.On a perusal of the materials available on record, we find no material to show that ventilating the above grievance, the petitioner has made a representation to the authority concerned and therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, liberty is granted to the petitioner to make a representation before the authority concerned for redressal of his grievance in the manner known to law. 3/5
