ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 15.05.2024 and 12.08.2025, seeking UDR correction in respect of the property situated in Survey No.351/4, with an extent of 0.39 Hectare, in Vayali Revenue Village, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tenkasi District. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Ponraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse order is passed against the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.
3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4.According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased by the petitioner's father, Ayyanar Devar from one Santhana Muthu Devar and his legal heirs by way of registered document dated 26.06.1958. During UDR updation, the revenue records were erroneously transferred in the name of Rangasamy Reddiyar and subsequently, it was transferred in the name of the fourth respondent. Therefore, the petitioner's submitted a representation on 12.082025 before the first respondent seeking cancellation of patta that stands in the name of the fourth respondent and issuance of patta in the name of the legal heirs of Ayyanar Devar, who had purchased the property in the year 1958. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
6.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the
representation of the petitioner dated 12.08.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, the above mentioned Rangasamy Reddiyar/his legal heirs and fourth respondent.
