ORDER

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner culminated in the enquiry notice dated 14.07.2025 in his proceedings in Na.Ka.A2/347/2025 and to cancel the patta issued in favour of the respondents 2 and 3 in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.324/2A2, Ward AP, Block III, New T.S.No.6/3, K.Sathanur North Village, Tiruchirappalli East Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.Shangar Murali, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 2 and 3, notice to them is dispensed with.

3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4.According to the petitioner, he submitted an application on 24.09.2024 before the first respondent seeking cancellation of the patta issued in the name of Chithambaram, Jeyabal, Palanichamy, Mohamed Sulthan, Abdul Jabar and respondents 2 and 3. Pursuant to the said application, the first respondent called for a report from the jurisdictional Tahsildar and thereafter, the first respondent, in his proceedings in Na.Ka.A2/347/2025, dated 14.07.2025, issued an enquiry notice to the petitioner and the respondents 2 and 3 for conducting an enquiry on the application submitted by the petitioner. Thereafter, there is no progress. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court. 5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the application of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law after affording reasonable opportunity to the interested parties.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to complete the enquiry initiated by him in his proceedings in Na.Ka.A2/347/2025, dated 14.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, private respondents 2 and 3 and the above mentioned Chithambaram and others, who are all vendors of the private respondents. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
