ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The writ petitioner joined the respondent corporation as Junior Tradesman in the year 1986. He retired from service on 31.12.2018. His retirement benefits were settled only on 21.09.2019. 3.It is well settled that for such belated payment, the retired employee is entitled to interest. I, therefore, direct the respondent corporation to pay interest on the belated payment at the rate of 6% per annum. The interest amount shall be paid within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
