ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to extend the lease granted in favour of petitioner in respect of Shop No. 64 (Old Khathi Graft Store), Sannathi Street, Courtallam, Tenkasi Taluk and District, for a period from 01.10.2024 to 31.01.2025, in the light of petitioner's representations, dated 31.08.2024 and 25.09.2024.

2. At the outset, it is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the Department, and also the learned counsel for the third respondent - Executive Officer, that the representations

of the petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders passed, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks.

3. Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
