ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to quash the selection list of Electrical Helper Trainee by direct recruitment for the year 2013-2014 dated 22.02.2014 with a consequential relief insofar as non selection of the petitioner in the post of Electrical Helper (Trainee) Backward Class (non priority category) and consequently direct the respondents to include the petitioner's name in the selection panel list for the year 2013-2014.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that for the Backward Class Non-priority category, the cut off mark is fixed as 79.48. However, the petitioner has secured only 72.73 marks. Since the petitioner is not coming within the zone of consideration, the petitioner's name was not included. Moreover, this Writ Petition is filed in the year 2014 for the selection conducted in the year 2013-2014. Due to efflux of time, the petitioner's claim cannot be considered.
